Jenny Renner, Jenny's Studio of DanceJenny Renner
Jenny graduated from Dominican College in 1987 with a B.A. degree in Dance with an emphasis in ballet. While at Dominican, Jenny trained with the Marin Ballet Academy. During college, Jenny performed with the Dominican College Dance Troupe throughout the Bay area. After college, Jenny taught in the Los Angeles area before returning to her home in the Reno-Sparks area. She was a member of the Nevada Festival Ballet Company and performed in many ballets, including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Les Syphylls, and Giselle. Jenny was Miss Sparks and Miss Reno and was first runner-up to Miss Nevada in 1989. Jenny opened her studio in 1992 and has loved having the chance to teach her love of dance to her many students over the years.  Jenny is the proud mother of two daughters and has been married to her husband since 1993.


 

Anett Eichler, Jenny's Studio of DanceAnett Eichler
Anett was born, raised and had her first classical ballet training in Germany. She danced with the Ballet at the Opera House in Germany and has performed extensively around Europe, Tokyo and the United States. She has received numerous scholarships to train at ballet companies around the world. Anett is the proud mother of her daughter, Jodi. Anett is very passionate about proper training in ballet, jazz, lyrical and modern dance forms.

 

Tamara Sandoval

Tamara has 25 years of dance and performing experience in various styles including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, musical theater African and hula.  She was a 10 year member of a competition team from Southern Oregon that traveled throughout the west coast and Las Vegas.  After minoring in dance at the University of Oregon, she returned home to Medford, Oregon and continued dancing and was an assistant teacher for her hometown studio.  She was the assistant coach/choreographer for the North Medford High School Dance team.  She is the proud mother to her daughter, Jordan!

Erica Maldonado
Erica began her dance career as a self-taught hip-hop dancer.  At the University of Nevada Reno she has studied and trained in all idioms of dance including modern, jazz, ballet and hip hop.  She has developed a unique style that best suits her and her students.  Erica has performed in various dance concerts at the University with opportunities to work with faculty, guest artists and student choreographers.  Apart from performing, Erica also played an important role in choreographing hip hop peices for various performances and master classes at UNR.  Her exposure at the University level has led her to several local projects such as Artown's Dancing in the Park and performing for assorted high school fundraisers.  Erica has recently graduated from UNR with her bachelor's degree, including a dance minor and will continue on in her education to receive a master's degree at UNR in Speech and Language Pathology in the fall of 2010.

Tessa Miller-Casey

Tessa began her dancing career at the age of three.  Since then she has performed, danced, taught and choreographed in all stules of dance including:  tap, ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical and musical theater.  When she graduated high school at the age of sixteen, she attended TMCC where she recieved her associates degree in Arts, while studying dance.  In school she took a special interest in modern and tap.  She has been performing dance as well as piano and singing professionally since the age of twelve.  She currently teaches dance, singing and piano.

Rebecca Deci

Becca has been dancing locally since the age of 4 and has been dancing at conventions and competing in California and Nevada since age 7.  She received numerous awards and scholarships from LA Company Dance and LA DanceForce. She has perfomed
Carmen Hill, Jenny's Studio of Danceextensively and has appeared in:  "Beauty and the Beast" (with Ballet Met), "The
Nutcracker" (with Nevada Festival Ballet and Nevada Ballet Theater, Las Vegas), "Frankenstein", "A Christmas Carol," and "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" (with Diablo Ballet) as well as many other local performances. She loves all forms of dance with lyrical and contemporary being her favorites.  Along with her normal dance schedule, she is looking forward to adding more teaching and choreography to her resume this year.
